With a passion for cooking with fresh, local ingredients, our chefs have created an playful menu of globally-inspired California cuisine at our modern restaurant. Our team has also designed a world-class wine program and a creative cocktail experience to complement the diverse global flavors from the kitchen. Executive Chef Jonathan Wood

Inspired by his world travels and cooking Korean food in his grandmother's kitchen, Executive Chef Jonathan Wood incorporates global flavors and cooking techniques into his food. His dishes are wildly creative, yet approachable. Chef Wood believes strongly in using the freshest organic ingredients to craft globally inspired food at Mari Los Angeles.  A 13-year veteran of the culinary industry, Chef Wood graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York in 2001. Chef Wood is the Executive Chef and Director of Food and Beverage at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City at Beverly Hills.

Executive Sous Chef Shane Hosac

Executive Sous Chef Shane Hosac oversees culinary operations, ensuring flawless execution of all Food and Beverage operations. He joined the InterContinental team in 2011 as a banquet chef, where he was responsible for all hotel banquet, catering and special events. Prior to that, Chef Hosac worked at The Ritz-Carlton and the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, California.
